District Convention Report
District 27-D1 Cabinet Meeting
October 11, 2009

The District convention will be held Friday and Saturday, March 12 and 13, 2010, at the Holiday Inn Dubuque. After careful consideration of the circumstances surrounding the Governor Dodge Hotel in Platteville, it was decided in consultation with and the approval of the District Governor, that the convention should be moved from this facility. The costs associated with hosting the convention in Dubuque are more advantageous than those related to the Governor Dodge. Today, I am soliciting volunteers to serve on the Convention Planning Committee. If you are willing to serve on this committee please sign up on the sheet that is being passed around and list your telephone number and email address. The first meeting of the committee will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2010 at a location to be determined. You will be contacted prior to the meeting with the location and to confirm your attendance.
